SATURNIA 2011
At the 15th Hendrixiana event the weather was perfect and there were two days and nights of beautiful celebration of Jimi's music.
This year I travelled alone to Italy and besides jamming a lot ,I played with Nicola and Patrizio on bass and Marco on drums.
We had a great time and one could feel Jimi's spirit all around us.
It was a nice mix of young and older fans, players and listeners - jamming took place all day long ...but we also went bathing to the famous spa of Saturnia
After almost two years it sure was a pleisure meeting old friends and enjoying Jimi together.
I am very pleased that there were so many different bands, with the exception of drums - poor Marco had to play Mitch's part for various combinations,
but I think he did not mind.
I want to thank everybody involved for the beautiful hours we spent. Ciao everyone, I hope to see you all next year.
